circa 1938. This is a fine collector's piece from pre-war production. The panzer wrapper in the special version with golden-yellow piping around the collar. Complete with all insignia, Bevo woven breast eagle on black, hand-sewn, the collar tabs machine-sewn, the death's heads in aluminum, the split pins inserted through the back of the collar. The shoulder boards sewn in. Interior with early gray lining, and acceptance stamp "E.38", as well as maker's stamp "Paul Opalla & Co.". Measurements: shoulder 43 cm, sleeve length 63 cm, chest circumference 76 cm, back length 58 cm. Only lightly worn, condition 2+.
Rarely found in this quality, a truly outstanding panzer wrapper, it doesn't get better than this.

Chamber piece, circa 1939. Black beret made of felt cloth, with removable crown, complete with Bevo-woven eagle and oak leaf wreath, both hand-sewn. Interior with brown sweatband, black oilcloth lining, maker's stamp on inside of sweatband reading "Karl Halfar Berlin No20 Prinzenallee 74", with size designation 56, dated 1939. Six black rubber ventilation holes in the black oilcloth lining, still originally sealed. Size: 56. The panzer beret is worn, with an old repair patch on top of the beret, condition 2-3.

Black cloth, complete with machine-sewn Bevo-woven eagle and cockade insignia, pink soutache piping. Interior with purple lining and manufacturer's stamp “Clemens Wagner Braunschweig - Hamburg”, size marked “55 1/2”. Condition 2.
